As the Residential Children’s Home Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing the children’s home, ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational policies and procedures.
Developing constructive relationships within the wider community to promote positive outcomes for the children and young people in care.
Ensuring staff have the necessary skills, experience, and qualifications to meet the needs of each child or young person.
Producing monitoring reports, statistical data, and evaluations in line with organisational policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate for the Residential Children’s Home Manager role should have:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services or equivalent.
3 years’ experience working with children in the last 5 years and at least 1 year at senior level.
Experience in supervision or management.
Knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards 2015, Single Social Care Inspection Framework (SSCIF), Children Act 1989, and related acts.
Skills in leading and inspiring a staff team, managing stress and difficult dynamics, and demonstrating emotional resilience.If you've previously held roles such as a Children's Home Deputy Manager, Care Home Manager, Children's Services Manager, Residential Care Manager, or Youth Home Manager, this position could be an exciting next step in your career.
