Lead or Principal Systems Engineers - Military and Defence Systems – Bedfordshire Area

Job Purpose: Part of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) – Systems Engineering

The Lead or Principal Systems Engineers will be working on the development of next generation Electronic Defence Systems.

Multiple Lead or Principal Systems Engineers are required for an international Defence and Weapons Systems Company that is expanding their team.

Salary and Seniority will depend on skills and experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for the Lead or Principal Systems Engineers

1. Develop Systems Requirements, systems models, and system architectures.
2. Contribute to a clear Architectural Vision, supporting Capability road-maps, for development of systems products in the short, medium, and long term.
3. Support the continued systems development of Architecture methodologies in the Systems Engineering Function.
4. Apply System-of-System and product development approaches to ensure alignment and efficiencies across the projects.
5. Provide internal consultation and Systems Engineering expertise to support projects.
6. Support systems design reviews as a contributor and technical reviewer.
