The Headteacher and Governing Body are looking to appoint a Catering Manager on a part-time basis to work within our very small, rural school. We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious person who has relevant experience in a catering environment that includes food preparation and cooking or a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will plan, prepare, cook and serve delicious, healthy and well-balanced meals along with cleaning tasks and managing a kitchen. This post is to start in January 2025 or as soon as possible after this date.
You will:
1. Have relevant experience of working in a catering environment that includes food preparation and cooking or a willingness to learn.
2. Have excellent communication skills.
3. Have a good standard of English and Maths skills.
4. Be able to organise self and work without supervision.
5. Be flexible with a good sense of humour.
6. Comply with Hygiene, Health and Safety legislation, financial regulations and School policy and procedure.

This post is part-time, 17.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 10:00 to 13:30.
