Job Responsibilities:
Administration
1. Have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures.
2. Work in accordance with written protocols.
3. Patient navigation/Signposting to various services and PCN Hub.
4. Scanning documents.
5. Receiving patients.
6. Consulting with members of practice clinical teams.
7. Navigation of patients to correct services and triage appointments.
8. Cover for annual leave/sickness when required.
Appointments
1. Process appointment requests for today and future appointments from patients by telephone and in person.
2. Deal with visit requests.
Computer
1. Registrations of new patients, computer data entry, and medical records.
2. Process patients' change of address, computer data, and medical records (have knowledge of practice area).
Telephone
1. Have a working knowledge of our new cloud telephony telephone system (training given).
Other Tasks
1. Maintain a clear desk policy and adhere to practice policies.
2. Ensure building security; have thorough knowledge of doors/windows/alarm.
3. Any other tasks allocated by managers.
