Their specialist Marine team assists these clients and their insurers and reinsurers in relation to:
* Arbitration
* General Average
* Ship arrest
* Cargo claims
* Fine art and specie
* Jurisdictional disputes
* Maritime casualties
* Charterparty disputes
* Commodity disputes
* Marine insurance
* Misappropriation
* Sale of goods
* Shipbuilding
* Third party liability claims for personal injury and property damage
* Yacht claims
This high quality, dedicated team are now looking for an additional Associate in the London office.
In order to be considered for this role you will have:
* Strong academics, intellectual rigour and strong technical and research skills;
* Trained at a rated City or regional firm, most likely one with a good reputation for Marine work (wet and/or dry experience would be of interest);
* Most likely between 1 and 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Shipping law;
* The ability to adopt a proactive approach and take initiative;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; and
* Proven ability to manage a busy, complex case load.
Common law-qualified Lawyers with relevant experience would be very welcome; the firm is able and willing to sponsor if required.
