About The Role
In this position you’ll be at the centre of our therapy team, delivering our exceptional, evidence-based rehabilitation programme.
Supporting our Senior Occupational Therapist, you will deliver therapeutic interventions and a host of activities in group and individual formats. Though you’ll be assisting our Senior Therapist, you will have many responsibilities of your own, such as, but not limited to:
* Building one-to-one rapport with patients to encourage participation and empower recovery.
* Sourcing and organising resources necessary to delivery therapeutic activities.
* Completing one-to-one therapy sessions, promoting meaningful occupation and person-centred care.
* Developing your own knowledge of local resources and services offered in the community, to assist in facilitating community integration.

Key Duties
* Completing interest checklists with new patients on admission and uploading onto our management software 'Nourish'.
* Facilitating ward-based group activities encouraging engagement and monitoring interactions between patients.
* Being enthusiastic and adaptable to cater for individual needs.
* Record keeping on Nourish and Microsoft Excel.
* Reporting to OT with any concerns, issues or recommended changes.

About Us
This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Activities Coordinator to join an established, dynamic and effective Psychology & Therapies Team at Baldock Manor Hospital in Baldock, Hertfordshire. The hospital offers a comprehensive and person-centred range of treatments within our Female PICU and Older Age acute wards for women and men with mental illness, personality disorders, and sometimes, complex physical health needs.
