Loss Prevention Analyst - Sutton Coldfield - CCTV - 12 months
Project Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled contingent worker to join our EMEA Loss Prevention team as an Investigations Specialist. This role will be the primary support for investigations related to drivers with more than 10 unreturned packages in one route. The successful candidate will review investigation SIMs raised by the Driver Fraud Abuse team (approximately 14 per week), conduct thorough investigations based on available CCTV footage, and collaborate with the Station Ops team to gather additional details regarding defect exceptions. Findings will be shared with the Fraud Abuse team for necessary actions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct preliminary analysis and subsequent investigations of losses, focusing on driver-related unreturned package incidents.
2. Utilize data mining techniques, CCTV footage, and other surveillance resources for loss analysis and investigations.
3. Review and analyze approximately 14 investigation SIMs per week.
4. Collaborate with Station Ops team to gather additional information on defect exceptions.
5. Prepare and present analytical reports on investigation findings.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for field Loss Prevention teams.
7. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to security protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in loss prevention, fraud investigation, or related field.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to mine and interpret complex data.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
6. Demonstrated capacity to handle confidential information with high discretion.
7. Structured approach to work and problem-solving.
8. Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends as per business needs.
9. Knowledge of logistical processes and supply chain operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of an EU language other than English.
2. Familiarity with database querying and analysis (e.g., SQL, Access).
3. Experience with Amazon internal tools (FC Research, Putty, etc.).
4. Formal investigation certification or relevant experience.
5. Experience in warehouse or distribution center services.
6. Understanding of EU data protection regulations and privacy laws.
