Description:
1. Oversee and manage the procurement and supplier management activities for indirect services to maximise cost, quality, and sustainability within the supply base.
2. Develop supplier capability including sourcing of new supply where required.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
4. Implement new technologies to streamline and improve procurement and supply chain processes.
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest trends in the industry.
6. Develop and oversee risk management procedures.
7. Ensure that all supply chain processes align with the organisation's sustainability goals.
8. Prepare and present detailed reports on supplier and contract performance.
9. Provide detailed analysis and reporting including contractual performance, supplier performance, and analysis of expenditure focused on opportunities for further improvement.
Profile: The Successful Applicant will be a Procurement and Supply Chain professional; ideally with a relevant qualification in supply chain management or MCIPS qualification. Proven experience in managing and optimising supplier performance and contract performance within a supply chain/procurement role and function with a focus on cost, quality, and assurance. Experience in contracts including tendering, commercial negotiation, and performance metric management. Ability to analyse data sets and produce and present reports. Strong stakeholder engagement skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
