Job Opportunity: Senior Reward Business Partner
We are proud to be partnering with a well-established public sector organisation, James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd, to appoint a Senior Reward Business Partner on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position based in Middlesbrough, offering hybrid working (3/4 days home working) and an estimated salary of £61,500 per annum.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the pay and grading structure, including job evaluation of new/amended roles, market pricing, and making recommendations on salary, base pay model development, bonus/performance schemes, and other processes.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing pay and reward strategies to engage and motivate employees
* Managing the benefits portfolio and salary sacrifice arrangements, portals, and associated budgets
* Building analytical models to forecast costs, identify issues, and impacts related to pay, pensions, and HR data
* Driving the development and effective implementation of the pay, reward, recognition framework and strategy through analysis and insight of key HR and benchmarking data and information
* Conducting analysis and external benchmarking to build knowledge and underpin an effective, fair, and competitive pay and reward strategy, including undertaking equality audits and complying with statutory requirements
* Providing data and undertaking pay/cost modelling to support annual negotiations with Trade Unions; and implementing annual pay and other reward programmes
* Project managing or acting as an internal advisor on projects/initiatives linked to pay, reward, pensions, etc., including the development of business cases, cost options appraisals, and benefits tracking
Requirements and Qualifications:
* CIPD qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent standard or relevant experience
* Experience undertaking job evaluation of new/amended roles
* Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel, databases, and HR Software
* Ability to analyse HR data & compliance requirements / privacy
* Demonstrable experience of pay, reward, and recognition
* Adept at building strong relationships with key business influencers
