This is your chance to be part of something truly special, working alongside wonderful colleagues and students who will brighten your day About the Role: As a key part of our team, you’ll provide hands-on support to amazing students with complex needs, helping them thrive and achieve their full potential. From learning in the classroom to assisting with personal care, every day will be a rewarding adventure What You'll Be Doing: Supporting students with PMLD in the classroom with tailored learning activities that bring joy to their day. Assisting with personal care needs, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility, while ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Safely using manual handling techniques to assist students with physical disabilities (don’t worry, we’ll make sure you’re fully trained if you’re not already). Helping to create a warm, inclusive, and happy environment where every student feels valued and cared for. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to bring out the best in every student. Celebrating small victories, encouraging independence, and being the smiling face that brightens their school day. What We’re Looking For: A kind-hearted individual who loves working with children and young people. Someone who’s open to providing personal care and understands how important this is for our students' well-being. Previous experience with SEND or PMLD is a plus, but if you’ve got the right attitude, we’d love to meet you Manual handling training is preferred (but we’ll happily provide this if needed).
