CKL Developments are an award-winning classic car restoration and racing business based in Battle, East Sussex, specialising in Jaguar powered cars from the 1950s and 1960s.
We are looking to recruit a part-time experienced Accounts Administrator, ideally with AAT or equivalent qualification, to join our team in this fast-paced office and workshop environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Sales ledger management
2. Processing sales invoices
3. Customer statement distribution
4. Debt collection
5. Purchase ledger management
6. Processing supplier invoices
7. Supplier statement reconciliation
8. Prepare payment runs
9. Processing supplier payments
10. Credit card/bank account reconciliation
11. Payroll data preparation
12. Some general office administration duties
Essential experience and skills:
1. Experience of managing both sales and purchase ledger
2. Experienced user of Sage50 Accounts
3. Self-motivated with excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
4. Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
6. Ability to work confidently, with tact, diplomacy and discretion
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with staff, customers and suppliers at all levels
8. Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to make sound judgments about competing priorities and identifying resources accordingly
9. Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Outlook and especially Excel
Desirable experience and skills:
1. Experience of or interest in the Classic Car, motorsport or other related industry
This is a part-time permanent position, working Monday-Friday at our premises in Battle, East Sussex.
