What you will be doing We are thrilled to announce a brand-new role that offers exciting opportunities for the right candidate. As a key member of our team, you will lead projects aimed at enhancing our Asset Liability Management (ALM) framework. While a foundational ALM framework is already in place, this role will be responsible for building upon and refining these structures, ultimately transitioning them into business-as-usual activities. This will include capturing data, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely metrics on funding risk. This role will also be responsible for building and managing the ALM team within the Treasury function. Supporting various projects to enhance the ALM function, including overview of daily cash and liquidity management, daily treasury dashboard reporting via Power BI and reporting of interest rate exposures and swap execution Enhance current processes and procedures, driving efficiencies in reporting and team operations. In addition, this role will collaborate with the wider Treasury team to support the successful implementation of a Treasury Management System that will deliver both functional upgrades for the Treasury Operations team and provide data and monitoring for the ALM function. As well as supporting DCM activities such as public securitisations and private deals. What we are looking for The ideal candidate will have a strong background within ALM and financial risk metrics. They will have experience in the mortgage industry, be proactive, and self-motivated, and posses the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Management experience would be a bonus but is not a necessity for this role.
