Bartender – Rooftop Bar – The Trafalgar St. James Part of Crimson Hotels, The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton is a 5 Star hotel with 131 bedrooms including 3 signature suites and a number of venues including our unique Rooftop bar, lauded as one of the best in the city and Rockwell. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Rooftop Manager, as our Bartender, you will work with the team to manage costs and ensure our guests are well looked after. You will also: Maintain the highest level of customer service; Research new products and identify industry trends; Maximise sales and profitability; Assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the bar, ensuring facilities are maintained to the standards required; Report and follow up on any comments, arrivals or guest queries as they occur; Demonstrate the ambition to meet personal and department goals; Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service to exceed their expectations; Assist with keeping the bar and surrounding area clean, stocked and presentable Ensure that work is carried out in a way that is cost efficient and understand the ways in which profit can be maximised. The ideal Bartender The ideal Bartender will demonstrate leadership skills, a genuine passion for service and thorough knowledge of drinks and current trends. A proven record of success in high volume bars is desired. In addition to this, our ideal candidate will have: The ability to engage and connect with people with a creative, forward thinking approach; Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertaken; The ability to work independantly and organise tasks amongst collegues to ensure efficient service during busy hours.
