Post Title: Horticultural Production Operative (One Year Fixed Term with potential to become permanent)
Salary: £22,317.75 per annum
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm

We host the Pictorial Meadows brand, a collection of wildflower meadow seeds and turf that create long lasting high impact displays that are climate resilient and increase pollinators.
This role will assist meadow turf, seed and soil production operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining meadow products in line with forecast from planting to product. This role also includes supporting innovation projects and overseeing the operation and maintenance of equipment, machinery and irrigation systems, while ensuring all turf produced meets the stringent quality standards. You will be expected to carry out essential tasks such as good field hygiene, pest and disease monitoring, crop husbandry, and crop walking.
This role involves close collaboration with the Production Supervisor to align production with customer delivery schedules and play a key part in responding to customer enquiries and complaints to ensure high quality solutions.
You will contribute to the delivery of annual KPI’s and promote open communication across departments to foster teamwork and engagement.
Please note that a full UK driving licence is essential.
