In this role, you will:
GB Bank is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Supplier Management Analyst to support the Head of Supplier Management and Supplier Owners across the Business Areas in the management & oversight of our suppliers and partner relationships to meet our strategic goals and deliver great customer service.
The role holder will be responsible for coordinating comprehensive due diligence assessments for potential new suppliers, ensuring that all relevant criteria are met before engagement. You will also provide essential support throughout the supplier selection process, including contract negotiation and onboarding.
You will actively support supplier owners to monitor the performance of existing suppliers, in line with contractual obligations including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards. This will involve diligently collating regular performance reports from suppliers, compiling key performance indicators (KPIs), and conducting analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Additionally, you will support the Head of Supplier Management to prepare regular, concise, and insightful management reports for the executive team, summarising overall supplier performance, compliance against regulatory requirements, and associated risks.
Key areas of responsibility:
1. Work with the Risk & Compliance Team to ensure the bank is in full compliance with its regulatory obligations regarding Outsourcing & Third Parties, including SYSC8 and PRA outsourcing responsibilities.
2. Work within the outsourcing framework from end-to-end: support the onboarding and ongoing management of suppliers.
3. Work with supplier owners to ensure supplier reviews take place within the guidelines of the framework and provide guidance on best practices.
4. Consider Operational Resilience obligations in supplier interactions, including when considering performance and conformance with SLAs.
5. Form, manage and facilitate strong relationships with our suppliers and internal stakeholders.
6. Support the production of MI which will demonstrate compliance, performance and support in escalating material issues upwards.
7. Review contracts and due diligence artifacts with a high degree of diligence for new and existing relationships.
8. Create reporting to assist the Head of Supplier Management and Supplier Owners in the tracking of contract renewals.
9. Work with the Finance Team to understand & analyse supplier spend and spend trends across the supply base, identifying any opportunities to reduce costs and optimise spend. Reporting these findings up through monthly Exco reporting.
A bit about you – You are/have:
1. Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, ideally with some experience of other reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau etc).
2. Experience conducting due diligence on third parties and/or managing contracts, demonstrating a strong attention to detail.
3. Ability to manage a large number of internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships.
4. Some awareness of relevant regulation would be advantageous (e.g. SYSC8, Operational Resilience).
5. Experience in the commercial management of suppliers, cost or budgeting would be an advantage, but not essential.
6. Good organisational/project management capabilities.

What else do I need to know?
1. Location: London-based (in-person).
2. Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 per annum (commensurate with experience).
