We are a friendly GP practice in the Bengeworth area of Evesham, seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and well-organised individual to join our nursing team. You will work autonomously alongside other members of the clinical team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and treatment to our patients.
As a Nurse Associate, you will support registered nurses in providing care, working within the sphere of nursing and care. You will be involved in all aspects of the nursing process, helping to enhance patient outcomes and promote health and well-being in our community.
Main duties of the job
* Carry out routine nursing tasks such as monitoring blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels.
* Support patients to improve and maintain their mental, physical, and behavioural health through behaviour change interventions.
* Assist with wound care management and the development of care plans for patients with chronic and acute wounds.
* Administer medications in line with NMC standards and guidelines, including via nebuliser or injections using the subcutaneous or intramuscular route.
* Contribute to the management of long-term conditions using a holistic, patient-centred approach.
* Accurately document consultations and maintain high standards of patient confidentiality.
* Recognise and work within your level of competency, referring to registered nurses or GPs as appropriate.
