Part Time Teacher (maternity cover)
An opportunity has arisen for Barnby Road Academy to offer a part time teaching vacancy to cover maternity leave from September 2025. We are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher to join our school team for 3 days per week. We simply want a fantastic professional, no matter what your experience is!
We welcome applications from candidates who:
• Have a good knowledge of primary teaching and can show outstanding practice
• Understand/have experience of assessment
• Understand the importance of safeguarding children
• Are able to work effectively, and flexibly, as part of a team
• Have high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviour
• Thrive on providing creative and inspiring learning opportunities for pupils in a stimulating and vibrant learning environment
• Put children at the heart of everything they do
