A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Digital Marketing Team as the Digital Content and Social Media Lead.

What will you be doing?
You will be:
* Responsible for leading on social media; collaborating with internal departments to gather stories that showcase YHA’s impact, setting up, managing and optimising organic and paid campaigns, posting fresh and engaging content and engaging with social media followers
* Using insights to optimise content, building on the success of our current engagement rates and aligning content with audience preferences
* Seeking out new channels, planning content using YHA’s CRM calendar and supporting YHA’s broader digital marketing goals through social media activities
* Leading on day-to-day tasks required to grow our digital channels with a focus on; social media management, SEO, and our Blogger Outreach Program, supporting additional copywriting for PPC ads and other channels and working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to support all of YHA’s campaigns
* Working closely with the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce team to ensure all websites have optimised, brand-aligned copy
What Skills and Experience do you need?
We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
* Proven experience in social media management, preferably within a large scale or high profile organisation
* Strong experience and skills working in a digital marketing role, especially social media and copywriting for online channels
* Proven track record of writing clear, persuasive, and creative content that resonates with different target audiences
* Familiarity with social media analytics tools and an understanding of key performance metrics
* Knowledge of SEO and content optimisation best practice
* Practical experience using Google Analytics 4
* Exceptional organisation skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work to deadlines
* Excellent people skills, building strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and external partners
* Detail oriented, excellent organisational and time management skills, outcome focused
