What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated TECS Reablement Project Officer to join our Team. To be responsible for creating long-term engagement with TECS in Worcestershire Adult Social Care Reablement Department and ancillary health agencies. Assess customers for packages of technology and promptly deploy technology solutions to enable swift hospital discharge. Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. Be the lead point of contact for the Reablement team, anticipate the customer's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for customer are met. To support the development of improved working practices, identified as part of the project. Be curious and highlight barriers to services, working closely with the TEC Project & Partnership Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Reablement team to identify and determine the correct technology package for the end user.
2. Deploy technology solutions swiftly in order to ease wait times on beds in hospitals.
3. Support the projects where instructed, including the effective implementation of new processes and procedures.
4. Attend training as required.
5. Contribute to maximum efficiency and value for money by excellent use of resources.
6. Work collaboratively with the wider TECS team to achieve seamless service delivery to all.
7. Ensure feedback from customers, both positive and negative, is fed back to the business for prompt and appropriate attention. Work with TEC Project & Partnership Manager to ensure feedback on outcomes is passed to the customer to complete the loop.
8. Support the reablement team's engagement with technology enabled care services.
9. All other duties as requested from time to time by the TEC Project & Partnership Manager.
Skills and Experience:
1. An attitude to problem solving, with a clear drive to achieving goals agreed within the Business Plan.
2. Experience of the telecare/telehealth market.
3. Knowledge of and empathy with the issues faced by older people reaching frailty or dementia and the caring challenges faced by their children.
4. Good knowledge of the health and care markets.
5. An understanding of the Local Authority Adult Social Care sector.
6. An understanding of equipment types and technological and service development within the sector.
7. Ability to organise their own workload.
8. Establish effective relationships with key contacts both internal and external.
9. Demonstrates a consistent commitment to meeting customer service guarantees. Work to understand customer needs and seek feedback on service quality and place high value on customer satisfaction.
10. Able to communicate effectively at all levels on behalf of and representing the organisation.
11. Excellent IT skills and an aptitude to learn new and developing techniques, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
12. Applicants will need to hold a Full driving license and be able to travel throughout Worcestershire.
