Salary: £48,000 - £51,000 per annum + Annual Bonus
Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 12:00

About the Role
Engineering @ 365 is working with a leading precision engineering company looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance function of their Leicester-based manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for managing a team of skilled maintenance engineers, ensuring the efficient operation of plant, machinery, and facilities to minimise downtime and improve overall equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and lead a team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring effective performance, training, and development.
2. Implement and manage a structured Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme, ensuring all machinery is serviced in line with an annual schedule.
3. Oversee and coordinate the team to ensure rapid response and resolution to equipment breakdowns, reducing downtime.
4. Manage external service providers, ensuring cost-effective maintenance solutions, contract renewals, and supplier relationships.
5. Support the upkeep and improvement of building infrastructure, machinery, and site facilities.
6. Work closely with the Engineering Manager to plan and execute machinery installations and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
7. Maintain detailed maintenance records, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and producing maintenance KPIs.
8. Ensure availability of critical spare parts, minimising potential production disruptions.
9. Identify opportunities to enhance machine performance, reliability, and overall efficiency through proactive maintenance strategies.
Requirements
1. Strong experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Mechanical or Electrical bias with relevant fault-finding experience and certification.
3. Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams in a fast-paced production setting.
4. Experience implementing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM strategies.
5. Strong understanding of health and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) for maintenance reporting and documentation.
