Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a company based in Newcastle Upon Tyne with the appointment of Employee Relations Advisor on a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will be providing comprehensive and professional HR Advise and support in line with company policy and current employment legislation. This includes coaching and supporting management to encourage more proactive approaches to employee relations and providing strong advice regarding disciplinary and grievance cases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide business focussed HR advice and support to the Group Head Office and Divisions on all HR policies and procedures, employment issues and legislation primarily over the phone and via Microsoft Teams.
* Adopt a coaching and mentoring approach to develop managers confidence and competence to manage HR cases and make good decisions.
* Support and advice managers on full case management from beginning to end on a range of ER matters including disciplinary, grievances, absence management and capability/performance management.
* Support HR team projects or initiatives as required.
* Produce HR reports and carry out data analysis as required.
* Support the Group HR Manager and Group HR Director to continually look for improvement and drive positive change within the HR Team.
We are keen to speak with candidates with strong employee relations experience from a STEM background. You must have the ability to communicate effectively and build robust relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
