The successful candidate will demonstrate that he/she is able to: Work flexibly with colleagues within a strong team Communicate positively and effectively with children, staff, parents and contractors Meet constant challenges with enthusiasm, determination, resilience and good humour Organise and prioritise their own workload Be pro-active and contribute to wider school life He /she will play an integral part in the safe and efficient operation of the school site, including: Securing the site and operating systems such as intruder and fire alarms Cleaning to a high standard General maintenance duties and minor repairs Key holder responsibilities Effective communication with the school team and liaison with contractors Accurate and effective record keeping Preparation/ set up of school events including out of hours meetings and performances There will be a requirement to work late on certain evenings to accommodate school events as well as to respond to emergency call outs in unsociable hours.
