We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for an experienced Safeguarding & Welfare Officer to join our dedicated team working with students in need and their families in order to prevent children/students becoming looked after and/or suffering significant harm.
If you are looking for a role where you can use your Safeguarding & Welfare knowledge and experience to support our Designated Safeguarding Lead in safeguarding and child protection matters, then we want to hear from you. All About You
Do you have what it takes to join us? The Safeguarding & Welfare Officer we would like to join us will:
•Be experienced and knowledgeable in CAF/TAC processes.
•Have high level working knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and practice.
•Be experienced in working with vulnerable families and students.
•Be able to make complex decisions about child safety, parent safety and understand the LA threshold for social service / police/medical involvement.
