An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small team supporting undergraduate medical students within Northumbria Trust. This is an integral role providing support, timetabling, and coordination of clinical opportunities, assessments, and teaching for medical students. Excellent attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills are required.
The post will be based at Wansbeck General Hospital; however, trust-wide travel will be required.
This post is part-time, 30 hours per week over 4 days (Tuesday - Friday).
Main Duties of the Job
1. To support and assist in the planning and implementation of the undergraduate and Pre-Registration education within the Trust.
2. To create and develop teaching timetables and plan for student assessments.
3. To provide administrative support to the Medical Education Manager.
4. To provide support to the Teaching and Research Fellows (TRFs) and Lecturer Practitioners (LPs) in their teaching activities.
5. To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ level 3, RSA 3, City and Guilds certification or equivalent experience.
* ECDL.
Experience and Knowledge
* Excellent understanding of a wide range of office practices.
* Experience of minute taking and the preparation of minutes.
* Experience in the planning, organisation, preparation, and implementation of large-scale activities e.g. conferences.
* Experience of working in an education or training environment.
* Experience in the creation, implementation, and delivery of teaching or training timetables.
* Experience of working in the NHS.
* Experience of working with budgets.
