EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist/IPR Coordinator (m/f/*)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role: As an EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist/IPR Coordinator (m/f/*), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Coordinating, overseeing, and executing the Trade Compliance program, Inward Processing Relief (IPR) program for KCI Manufacturing Unlimited Company, Ireland and other similar Trade Compliance programs, activities, and responsibilities in EMEA managed by the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower.
2. Leading, optimizing, managing and coordination of the IPR program according to current customs law and regulatory requirements, including common customs audits.
3. Functional responsibilities include Broker Management, Export Control, Customs Management, duty management & AEO certification.
4. Reporting to EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower Lead and being part of the Global Trade Compliance team.
5. Collaborating with EMEA & Global Trade Compliance colleagues to execute the TC strategy and program to minimize risk, enhance service, and optimize cost savings.
6. Driving improvement in compliance and business efficiency performance.
7. Defining, maintaining, and communicating key compliance and efficiency performance indicators (KPIs) as well as SOPs, ICP, and training material.
8. Assisting EMEA Trade Compliance control tower lead to assess country compliance and capabilities.
9. Identifying gaps and proposing solutions to address them.
10. Driving improvement through process optimization and project management.
Your Skills and Expertise: To set you up for success in this role from day one, you require (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
1. In-depth experience working in Import-Export Compliance and specifically in filing IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue or other EU countries with a minimum of 2-3 years.
2. Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
3. In-depth Trade Compliance (three years) experience in a private, government or military environment.
4. Knowledge of regional trade regulations in various EMEA countries.
5. Ability to work in large, complex, multinational organizations.
6. Good analytical and communication skills.
7. Excellent skills in Excel, Business Objects, and other software for data analysis.
8. Self-organized; able to work quickly and accurately with minimum supervision.
9. Able to work under strict deadlines.
