Call Conor O ’ Hagan for more details Excellent Salary available DOE The Role: Reporting to the European Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will have the following: Primary Responsibilities: Manage the sourcing process for the categories packaging materials and indirect materials “ MRO, OEM and Critical Components ”, including development and oversight of commodity strategies ensuring long term value creation via reliable- and innovative sources of supply. Support global sourcing for direct materials and source minor raw materials. Coordinate RFP’s and the vendor selection processes. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain and Business functions to identify and drive improvement- and cost optimi s ation initiatives. Negotiate supply agreements by applying a thorough understanding of our company’s contract templates and risk terms, manage deviations with legal and obtain required approvals. Manage supplier relationships with strategic and preferred vendors, including oversight of delivery- and quality performance. Obtain integral understanding of the Purchase to Pay transactional process in SAP for raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and services as required by the company’s manufacturing sites. Understand management of Vendor-/Material Master Data in our Global Data Repository. Drive Purchase to Pay transactional efficiency through automation and process enhancement. Utilize SAP Ariba functionally, including Sourcing, Catalogues and Contract management. Analy s e purchasing data via reporting tools identifying saving- and risk mitigation opportunities. Ensure purchasing practices are fully aligned with company’s polices, internal financial controls and compliance requirements. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision to meet required deadlines.
