Regulatory (Health & Safety) Lawyers
Qualified Solicitors or Barristers
Manchester (with hybrid working)
Competitive Base Salary + Bonus & Benefits
A truly outstanding opportunity for Regulatory lawyers to join this leading Safety, Health & Environment team and to work on one of the most significant corporate manslaughter investigations in the UK.
The Opportunity
Joining the Manchester-based team of this international law firm at a time of real growth, you will be working alongside Health, Safety and Environment specialists within a welcoming and supportive environment.
You can expect industry-leading work, advising blue-chip corporate clients on a range of health and safety matters.
This is a key time to be joining: the team is currently working on one of the most significant corporate manslaughter investigations in the country and therefore the successful candidate has the opportunity to be exposed to important, interesting and career-defining work.
You can expect a clear career path, excellent benefits (many with the aim of enhancing wellbeing) and the opportunity, if desired, to spend time working from one of the firm’s offices in another part of the world.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate would already have experience of advising clients on health and safety investigations. However, training and support would be available for more inexperienced candidates who can demonstrate transferable skills and a very keen interest in specialising in this area.
The team is open to considering lawyers from NQ (with a Health & Safety/Regulatory or Crime training contract seat) to a senior level. Both solicitors and barristers would be of interest to the team.
The role will take the successful candidate around the country to clients’ sites and to inquests and therefore you should be able to travel, sometimes at short notice.
The team works on a hybrid basis and typically spends around two days in the Manchester office per week.
Any references to PQE/levels of experience are provided purely as a guide and should not discourage applications from those who believe they have the relevant skills and expertise.
