A bit about what you will do The Assistant Spa Manager ensures that the highest standards of customer care and therapy procedures are followed, in order to ensure the highest possible guest satisfaction. It is the Assistant Spa Manager's responsibility to ensure the Spa Department operates effectively and efficiently for the best possible guest and staff experience whilst achieving the Spa’s business goals and successful outcomes. Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa. As Assistant Spa Manager, Therapists and Receptionists and Spa attendants must report any issues/Complaints/Problems to you. (These may then be reported to Spa manager as required) To report any maintenance, breakage or cleanliness problems to the relevant manager. Ensuring therapists carry out excellent customer service and sales by communicating with Head Therapist and checking treatment standards. Ensuring receptionists carry out excellent customer service and sales by communicating with Head Receptionist and checking reception standards. With Head Therapist monitoring good stock levels and ordering of treatment, retail and locker room products. Interviewing team members and carrying out trade tests. • Undertaking Small Discipline issues with Team Members when possible minor problems arise. (Lateness, not following correct procedures etc.) Development of team members – This is to include; Spa Therapist Training, Customer Service Training and Techniques, and Sales Techniques. Paying attention to budgets and targets, helping to generate business. This will include working with the Spa Manager to set Team Members daily weekly targets (Incentives) and ensure all business KPI’s are met. Help with and develop promotion of Treatments, Spa Days, and looking for the ‘Quiet Days’ to push additional treatments promotions. Writing rotas for the Spa team (Therapists and Receptionists) ensuring ALL shifts are covered, and rotating to More about you Experience working in treatments.
