The client is a manufacturer and supplier of components, products, and systems to various industry sectors. They have a global customer base and are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join their team.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will carry out the following duties within the engineering team.
The main duties and responsibilities for the role include the installation, maintenance, and repair of the company's equipment, products, and machines at client sites.
Responsibilities / Job duties are as follows:
* Install and configure equipment at client sites
* Ensure systems and machines are fully operational before handover
* Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues
* Diagnose and repair equipment failures promptly
* Provide onsite and remote support to clients
As a Support Technician, you will need to hold the following skills and experience:
* Extensive Field Service Engineering expertise or expertise in Commissioning / Installation / Maintenance Engineering
* Electrical and mechanical aptitude
* HVAC experience would be advantageous but not essential
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
* Proficient with diagnostic tools and software
* Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally abroad / overnight at times
* A valid driving license
* A courteous and professional manner
* A high attention to detail
The client is based in Redditch, making it easily commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Solihull, Droitwich, and Alcester, although the role would be field-based at times nationally and overseas.
Expenses will be covered, and a bonus for any weekend work (occasional) will be paid.

The role is Days: 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 7.30am to 1.30pm on Friday.
