Job Overview

Your role will include providing administration and business management support to the Service Manager and Senior Operational Manager with a view to maintaining and continually developing performance within the service.
While the role is primarily located at Trafford General Hospital, there is the expectation to attend Altrincham General Hospital fortnightly and be flexible to work cross-site (WTWA), as required.
The post holder will be expected to liaise with a wide range of healthcare professionals, nursing and administration teams on a day to day basis to assist with waiting list targets, operational management, and service delivery/improvements.
Main duties of the job
* Provide business support to the Service Manager and Senior Operational Manager to assist in the delivery of a safe and effective service within the directorate/specialties, ensuring that all targets, deadlines, and objectives are delivered as appropriate.
* Manage and supervise the bookings team and line manage the supervisors managing the reception/admin staff, and support the teams to ensure a robust service is provided for our patients.
* Liaise with all relevant specialties to ensure our service level agreements are managed and supported accordingly regarding the booking and managing of patient appointments.
