We are looking for a highly motivated Purchase Ledger to join our clients Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's ledger, processing invoices, and preparing payment runs.

Description
1. Maintaining the purchase ledger and ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
2. Processing invoices in a timely manner and preparing payment runs.
3. Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with any discrepancies.
4. Assisting with month-end and year-end closing of the ledger.
5. Handling supplier queries and resolving any issues swiftly.
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
7. Assisting with other accounting duties as required.
8. Contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
1. Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Prior experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
3. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
4. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
