Job summary The Stoke-on-Trent NHS Talking Therapy Service is an innovative primary care service which involves partnership arrangements between North Staffordshire Combined Health Care (NSCHCT), Midland Partnership Foundation Trust (MPFT), and the Third Sector. All therapists are actively encouraged to participate in clinical research projects, and to pursue their own research/professional development interests. Main duties of the job Provide high intensity cognitive behavioural therapy to clients who have a range of mild to moderate common mental health problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be effective. Assess clients suitability for engagement with psychologica linterventions within the stepped care model and formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes.
