Ensure that all sessions are planned using the Academy Coaching Framework by setting out the learning intentions which the session is intending to achieve and the coaching which will be given in order to achieve them. Deliver the Academy Coaching Programme for players in an age group. Contribute to the multi-disciplinary reviews of all Academy players in the age group to deliver a holistic development approach. Provide individual, small group and full team coaching sessions to develop the skill level of Academy players. Ensure each Academy player has access to an individual Learning Plan tailored to his specific needs. Ensure each Academy player is made aware of his individual Learning Plan (and any changes thereto) as soon as reasonably practicable in advance of his being coached. In conjunction with the Designated Safeguarding Officer, ensure all policies, practices and procedures relating to the safeguarding of young people are implemented. Ensure all coaching is recorded on the Academy KitMan Labs recording system. Work with relevant coaches and support staff to plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions and game plans. Attend all youth coaching sessions and games as required. Undertake enhancement of specific personal qualifications and CPD training as provided by the Club and regulatory bodies. About The Candidate Experience of: A part time coach An evolving knowledge of how players learn Previous experience within an Elite Sports Environment or Academy setting working within the EPPP framework. A comprehensive understanding of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP). Experience of dealing with minors and an excellent understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures including the relevant clearances for individuals. An understanding of the EFL Youth Development rules and regulations. Running and designing practices that meet the needs of the individual Football (coached or played at a high level) Working as part of a multi discipline team Have IT experience of KitMan Labs, Excel, Word and any other software as required to carry out the duties required for the job.
