We are currently recruiting for an Interim Internal Communications Manager. This is an exciting project role to launch and manage the internal communications plan for the Hand Picked Hotels colleague group of c. 2,000 colleagues, with an emphasis on driving engagement and understanding. This is an Interim role for 6 months for 3 days per week based from our Central Support Office in Sevenoaks in Kent. About the Role About the role: • As Internal Communications Manager you will focus on delivery of the internal communications plan including: •Collaborating with an external agency to deliver video content, branding and collateral. •Work with senior leaders to scope and deliver events and roadshows. •Supporting Hotel General Managers to effectively deliver messages to colleagues. •Establish an ongoing internal communications cadence to regularly celebrate success, drive performance and keep colleagues up to date and engaged on progress. This includes: •Creating and implementing new and different ideas and creating and delivering engaging content. •Supporting senior leaders on communications activities as required (ie. Cascade). •Collaborating with our internal Training team to scope communications training to General Managers to ensure impactful messaging. •Ensure alignment to external communications to manage any internal messaged with wider external context. About you: • In depth experience in internal communications working in organisations which are Consumer/Guest facing. •Have previous experience of working with a dispersed workforce environment, who are not desk based, Ie Hospitality or Retail. •Have a proven track record of launching and embedding internal communications plans in organisations at times change. •Strong creative and writing skills, including writing on behalf of multiple leaders and establishing tone of voice. •Experience working with multiple channels and media (including scoping videos, emails, digital communications, in person events, roadshows etc.) •Ability to be hands on and in the detail, to pivot from senior level alignment to “doing” (this is an individual contributor role) •Hotel experience would be advantageous. •Prior experience of interim roles including ability to get up to speed and making impact quickly would be beneficial.
