The team
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Finance Team. You will be part of providing effective and efficient finance services to Energy Saving Trust and its employees. You’ll be vital support for the team through providing essential administration support across the board such as processing purchase invoices, administration of card payments and raising sales invoices.
The role
* This entry-level role presents an excellent developmental opportunity for the right person. You may not have finance experience, but you’ll be a first-class administrator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, good attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy to ensure the correct information is recorded and processed in a timely manner. Above all, you’ll be highly collaborative and comfortable working as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.
What you’ll do
* Processing purchase invoices, payment runs, maintaining AP ledger and resolving queries with internal/external stakeholders
* Administration of credit card (soldo) payments
* Checking and processing of loan and grant payment runs
* Detailed daily cash balance reporting
* Ad-hoc tasks within the finance team
What you’ll bring
* A diligent approach to task and an attention to detail combined with the ability to work accurately and spot errors within financial information
* Positive, can-do attitude and a team-based focus
* Good communication skills including verbal and written
* Excellent time management skills – able to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines
* Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholder queries and respond in a positive manner
