We currently have an amazing opportunity to join the Stonehouse Court team as Duty Manager. Position Overview: As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring seamless service and high standards are maintained throughout all areas, including dining rooms, bars, and event spaces. You will be responsible for managing a team, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operational flow during your shift. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times. Manage service standards in all areas, including the restaurant, bar, and event spaces, while ensuring quality and consistency. Supervise food and beverage staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Assist with the coordinatio, and execution of special events such as Weddings, functions, and banquets. Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock is managed and replenished accordingly, reporting any discrepancies or issues. Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all food and beverage areas. Guest Relations: Provide a personalized and exceptional experience to all guests, responding promptly to any queries or concerns. Anticipate guest needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. Handle guest complaints or concerns effectively and professionally, ensuring resolutions that enhance the guest experience. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of food and beverage staff, ensuring they provide excellent service and work efficiently. Train and mentor new staff, providing guidance and support in line with company procedures and standards. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and assist in career development within the department. Financial & Administrative: Monitor and control departmental costs to ensure the profitability of food and beverage services. Assist in the preparation of the monthly budget and forecasts, ensuring targets are met. Ensure accurate cash handling and payment processes during your shift. Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and food safety protocols. Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organization across all food and beverage areas. Regularly review and update menus and service offerings to ensure they meet guest expectations and seasonal trends. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in food and beverage management or a supervisory role in a hotel or restaurant, ideally in a similar high-end or luxury setting. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including bar management and fine dining service. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy periods. Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. A positive, proactive, and hands-on approach to management. Desirable Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage. Experience in managing events and banqueting services.
