Who we’re looking for:
We’re recruiting for an ambitious individual with 2-3 years of sales experience to join our team who is well educated, articulate and confident. The successful candidate will be an A-Player, self-starter, hungry for commission and fast tracking their career. With a focus on both Business Development and Account Management, this is a 360 sales role.
Responsibilities include:
* Driving growth of the business in a 360 sales role by generating leads through outbound sales activity
* Closing deals working to set targets and KPIs - pushing new boundaries with support of the sales team
* Working with senior stakeholders and supporting with large deals and sponsorship
* Calling PR & Marketing contacts from leading brands, retailers & their PR agencies
* Managing objections and successfully negotiating
* Attending other retail industry exhibitions to meet and find new relevant clients
* Following processes, using scripts and templates to support your sales outreach
* Account Management of your clients, building & maintaining relationships, securing repeat business, cross selling, upselling other PR solutions offered by CIJ Group
* Having account management calls every 3-6 months
* Accountable for brand communication with your clients following events
* Obtaining Google Reviews from happy clients
* Managing and updating the CRM data system and master spreadsheets with leads and contact information
* General business support to the wider team including administrative tasks such as data collation, research and feedback surveys
* Learning & continual improvement of skills, bringing new ideas into the organisation
* Sending contracts to clients
* Developing and updating systems & processes for the business
* Updating sales and marketing materials & review each quarter & follow up
* Developing presentations and pitching for new business for large accounts
* Management of junior team members
Desired Skills & Expertise
* 2-3 years sales experience
* Confident communicating on the telephone and face to face
* Self-motivated with lots of energy & enthusiasm to hit targets and make money
* Degree level education & fluency in English
* Excellent attention to detail and grammatical skills
