About theRole:
This is an excitingopportunity to play a leading role in inspiring a love of food andcooking within a dedicated team. You will be responsible fordelivering engaging and stimulating Food Technology lessons acrossthe curriculum equipping students with essential culinary skillsand promoting healthy eatinghabits.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Plandeliver and evaluate engaging Food Technology lessons for Key Stage3 (Years 78) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 911) in line withthe National Curriculum.
* Foster a creative andpractical learning environment in the kitchen encouraging studentsto explore diverse culinary techniques and cuisines.
* Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiativesthat align with the schools vision and the latest advancements infood education.
* Ensure a safe and hygienickitchen environment adhering to all health and safetyregulations.
* Build positive and supportiverelationships with students promoting teamwork and fostering a loveof learning in the kitchen.
* Play an activerole in the department including contributing to curriculumdevelopment assessment strategies and departmentalmeetings.
* Participate in wholeschool eventsand initiatives fostering a collaborative spirit and contributingto the wider schoolcommunity.
