ROLE OF THE JOB
You will provide an efficient and effective refuse collection and recycling service to remove household, industrial and commercial waste producers in accordance with predetermined schedules and Council policy.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
You must have relevant knowledge of the range of tasks, together with the operation of associated tools and equipment and an appreciation and interest in the need for the service.
You will have the strength, dexterity and co-ordination to manoeuvre bins and operate hydraulics and the specialist skills associated with the operation of the hydraulic equipment.
You must be able to cope with the regular high level of physical demands and have the ability to maintain general awareness to ensure safe working conditions.
