Join Our Team as a Contracts Manager – Building Fabric Maintenance (London/East) Location: London Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM Reporting to: Head of Maintenance About Us We have grown into a multi-discipline contractor delivering building, mechanical & electrical, and maintenance services. Our legacy includes working on some of London’s most prestigious buildings, including royal palaces, museums, galleries, and universities. The Role We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the English Heritage (EH) contract, ensuring the smooth delivery of all building fabric maintenance activities. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and subcontractors, ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage the successful and profitable delivery of the contract (£1m-£1.5m in value). Drive additional small works projects through surveying, costing, and delivery. Oversee financial applications, WIP, and debt management, ensuring timely reporting. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies. Monitor KPIs and SLAs, implementing improvements where necessary. Develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers. Lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Support business growth through new contract opportunities and tendering. What We’re Looking For A strong background in building fabric maintenance and contract management. Experience managing contracts valued up to £2m. Knowledge of MTC, JTC, and NEC contracts. Proven experience in P&L management, cost control, and financial reporting. A leadership mindset with the ability to inspire and develop teams. Relevant qualifications (ONC/HNC or trade apprenticeship preferred). Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and customer service skills. Why Join Us?
