Job Title: Project Professional
Location: Barrow-in-Furness – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £35,802 – depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing project plans, setting deliverables that align to the technical programme, identifying and supporting progress using project controls methodologies
* Monitoring, tracking and reporting on progress
* Controlling change using governed procedures
* Providing support on Project Management issues and proposing solutions in line with the programme strategy
* Supporting the plan on a page with stakeholders
* Developing plans including scope, timelines, budget and resource allocation
* Supporting the Project Manager in delivering tasks
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experience in applicable software including SharePoint, Microsoft Office
* Experience in Project Management and Control (PM&C), ability to apply PM methodologies and tools
* Confident in communicating with stakeholders to ensure an agreed project approach
* Ability to perform advanced project reporting and scheduling
Desirable:
* Association of Project Management (APM) accredited or working towards attaining
* Experience in Confluence and JIRA

The Controls & Instrumentation Team:
The Controls & Instrumentation Team is responsible for developing sensors, alarms, controls and management system. Basically, the ‘dashboard’ that enables all the data to be consolidated to enable key decisions to be made by the lead team within the boat. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
