Supervising sites singly or working on large ground investigations as part of a team, the duties and responsibilities range widely from safety to technical. A can-do attitude is essential along with a full clean driving licence.
You will be based at our Hamilton Scotland location and will be required to travel to other office locations throughout the UK and work outdoors in all weathers and away from home.
Responsibilities and Activities:
1. Safety – risk assessment and site safety
2. Soil and Core logging
3. Site preparation, supervision and management
4. Project management
5. Factual Reporting and basic interpretative reporting
6. Data management
7. Risk Assessment and Method Statement Production
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
BSc in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or Earth Science
BS5930, Eurocodes etc, Specification for GI
Risk Assessment & Site Management experience
* Project and Client Management skills
* Site management – multiple aspects
* Commercial awareness
* Full driver licence (travel is a requirement)
* Qualifications - CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, EUSR1
