We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained Anaesthetist to join our dedicated team at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists.
Come and join a vibrant and enthusiastic team at Southern Counties in the New Forest. We are a large, well-established, multi-disciplinary, small animal referral hospital, offering secondary and tertiary referrals. Our caseload is challenging and varied, and we have Specialist-led services in Surgery, Internal Medicine & Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Radiology.
You will work alongside 2 other ECVAA Diplomates, ECVAA Residents, Anaesthesia Clinicians, and dedicated Anaesthetic Nurses, as well as a large multi-disciplinary nursing team. We have all the usual facilities and equipment expected within a large referral hospital, including a new, 5 theatre, surgical facility that opened in 2022.

What We’re Looking For
You must be either an ECVAA or ACVAA Diplomate, or have completed an approved residency program and be an existing MRCVS or eligible to work in private practice in the UK.

A Working Pattern That Provides a Work-Life Balance
Full-Time hours require a commitment of 4 days per week, one night on call a week, and a 1-4 weekend on call. We are also open to discussion on Part-Time working hours as well.
