Job Description
The purpose of this post is to provide ICT/AV support services to all departments, members of staff, pupils and other stakeholders in the school.
Responsibilities
* Specialised ICT and AV Tasks
* Health and Safety
* Provision and organisation of materials and equipment
* Responsible for relevant in-service training / CPD
* Financial responsibility including inventory tasks
The Individual
* Expertise in a minimum of one of the areas of ICT /Technical /AV
* Qualified to HNC level in a Electrical/Electronic Engineering; or ICT; or equivalent as demonstrated by experience in any of these fields
* Proven time management and organisational skills
* In depth knowledge of software applications including word, excel and general internet access
* Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn
* Self confidence
* Self motivated
* Ability to work as part of a team
* A commitment to ensure that appropriate health and safety standards are met
* Evidence of an ability to prioritise work tasks for self
* Ability to accurately record information
* Excellent communication skills both oral and written
* An ability to communicate technical ICT issues to all within the school environment
* Ability to lift and carry computer hardware in conjunction with moving and handling regulations

Starting Salary: £30,405.05
£16.13 per hour
36.25 Hours per week
