About the Role: As a Secondary Tutor, you will work with students in Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering personalised support in subjects such as Maths, English, and Science (or your specialist subject). Sessions may take place in schools, learning centres, or students' homes, depending on the needs of the learner. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to support student progress. ✅ Provide academic intervention for students who may be struggling or require additional challenges. ✅ Track student development and provide feedback to parents and schools. ✅ Foster a positive and supportive learning environment. ✅ Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and needs. Requirements: ✔ Experience tutoring or teaching secondary school students. ✔ Strong subject knowledge in your chosen field(s). ✔ A degree in a relevant subject or a teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS desirable but not essential). ✔ Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners. ✔ An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). ✔ Ability to work independently and manage lesson planning effectively.
