WHAT TO EXPECT
We are seeking an accomplished Software Control Engineer, poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our Model-Based realm.
You will be instrumental in the design and development of embedded in-house software solutions for climate, seating and body controller systems using a model-based design approach including code generation and software unit testing.
Your mission? To work alongside other squad developers in an Agile framework to design and deliver software components for the before-mentioned products for deployment onto vehicle platforms.
You will also be leading the calibration data management of the body software components/applications for deployment onto vehicle platforms.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Lead the calibration data management aspect within the team by acting as the calibration pilot
* Engage in the development and deployment of software control functions and features onto multiple software architectures
* Assist and contribute to the generation of software performance targets and verification methods
* Contribute to the delivery of the software streams onto vehicle programs; this should be done in line with the Software Engineering discipline
* Work with Technical Specialists and other similar software squads on future software strategies and functions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Model-based software engineering using industry tools such as Matlab and Simulink
* Relevant experience working in an embedded software engineering environment within the Automotive Sector, ideally using AutoSAR
* Understanding of calibration data management and processes
* Requirements management using industry tools
* Relevant experience in model-based software development, auto-code generation, MIL and SIL testing, software requirements specification and software integration techniques
