As Master Data Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining key business data across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data processes. Collaborating with finance, supply chain and purchasing teams, this role will see you bring a process-driven approach to make a real impact on the smooth running of our systems and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities
* Data entry to create and extend new and existing materials in our systems: SAP, Merlin & Warehouse management system
* Review of incoming data from Bottlebooks platform
* Data analysis of materials – investigating and amending material data, including deletion of obsolete materials
* Creating and maintaining customer/supplier master data
* Data analysis of customer master data including customer hierarchies
* Create purchase info records and source lists
* Preparation of data files for mass upload
* Other cleansing and planning activities as required e.g. data project work
* Use Excel to support the data function in KPI reporting and everyday tasks – e.g. V look ups, pivot tables etc
* Responsible for costing materials in all plants on SAP & Merlin
* Prepare an annual mass costing upload at the year end
* Maintain and control Master Data in SAP such as procurement block & deletion flag for obsolete materials
* Query management – resolve any errors in relation to processing sales orders or MIGO/MIRO transactions where appropriate
Experience
* Attention to detail is vital to the role
* Working knowledge of SAP and/or Merlin is advantageous
* Problem solving & ability to challenge incorrect data is essential
* A proficient level of Excel, e.g. V look ups & pivot tables
* Good organization and time-management abilities
* Analytical and multitasking skills
* Able to flex and adapt to the changing needs of the business within the company

Working Conditions
* Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
* Hybrid working, at least three days per week in the office
* Working within an immediate team of 3
* Primary work location is Newbury which is wheelchair accessible, with step free access and on-site parking
