This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Senior Employee Change Communication Consultant You will join a highly creative employee communications agency within Mercer known as Impact. https://weareimpact.mercer.com/ This role will focus on crafting and executing impactful employee change communications for a broad range of clients, related to HR-led transformations and initiatives. The opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team that’s been named a ‘big bet’ for the UK organisation. We will count on you to: Create and deliver innovative employee change communication strategies to meet clients’ requirements – including for large / complex transformation projects. You will be responsible for identifying approaches and channels, developing project plans, setting milestones, and collaborating with creative, digital, personalisation and technical colleagues to develop and deliver engaging and compelling concepts. Manage the end-to-end delivery of change communication projects, from initial contact to final evaluation, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure successful outcomes. Produce flawless, storytelling-led client change communications tailored for various channels, delivered on time and within budget. Review, edit and enhance change communication materials developed by colleagues including guides, toolkits, presentations, video scripts, leaflets, personalised letters, articles, blogs, digital content and any other resources. Guide and coach junior colleagues to help them develop their change communication and consultancy skills, including through constructive feedback. Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients, becoming their trusted partner and adviser in employee change communication. Develop a pipeline of new communication business by fostering relationships with colleagues across the UK, Europe and Middle East; create profitable new business proposals and confidently present at pitches. Bring new thinking to the development of commercially viable propositions that enhance our offering to clients. Represent the Impact team confidently at internal and external events, showcasing our expertise and approach. What you need to have: Significant experience and deep understanding of employee change communication or a related field. Excellent verbal, written, editing and proofing skills. Pride in your work and a keen eye for detail are essential. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients; confident communicating with senior leadership. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage complex projects with dependencies, deadlines, budgets and external resources. Highly developed problem-solving and management skills, coupled with a strong sense of integrity. Strong sense of personal ownership while maintaining a collaborative, supportive and team-focused working style and deep belief that we succeed together. ‘Can do’ attitude and desire to ‘create an impact’. Relevant experience in employee change communication or supporting HR-led change initiatives. An understanding of behavioural science in change.
