Support Officer
Corona House, Cambridge
22.5 hours per week. Three days per week to include Wednesdays. Hours will be worked within Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
Salary: £ 29,138.54 pro rata for 22.5hrs pw £17,483.12. Fixed term for two years with the potential to become permanent.
Corona House is a unique women’s service uniting a diverse female population in Cambridge City. We support our women with a range of needs using a creative and flexible approach that explores each individual’s motivations and aspirations.
Our service has two aspects:
* Corona House – where we provide high quality support and accommodation for around two years, to six women who would otherwise be homeless or at risk of homelessness.
* Corona Community – a varied programme of supportive group activities available to Corona House residents, ex residents and to other local women.
We are looking for a female Support Officer to join our friendly team who will lead the activity programme and provide group and one to one support to our community based women.
We need a compassionate and creative woman with a high level of self-awareness who is comfortable working in a team environment and independently. If you care about the needs of local women and have experience of facilitating and organising group activities. and working with those with mental health issues. We would love to hear from you.
