Title: Production Supervisor /Team leader
Salary: Up to £32,000

Our client based in Bristol currently has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking person with food production experience. This is a hands-on role that means being right there on the factory floor, focusing on compliance, technical standards, health and safety, food safety, quality, and production output. You'll be the go-to person ensuring that our team runs smoothly, maintains high standards, and hits production targets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Actively supervise and engage with our production staff during the morning and afternoon shift, ensuring everything operates seamlessly and efficiently.
* Uphold all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations, helping train the shift team to keep everything compliant while ensuring documentation is always up to date.
* Monitor production processes to ensure our products meet all quality standards and swiftly take action to resolve any issues.
* Organize staff assignments to effectively utilize everyone's talents.
* Follow production schedules to maximize output while keeping quality at the forefront and managing resources wisely to minimize waste.
* Ensure our equipment is used correctly and promptly report any maintenance needs, maintaining our high technical standards.
* Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety procedures and conducting routine checks.
* Manage and motivate our team, providing clear direction to ensure everyone is performing.
* Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to share information and collaborate effectively with the Production Manager and other departments.
Skills & Experience Sought:
* Current/recent experience as a Line Leader or Supervisor within an FMCG environment.
* Experience in training, mentoring, and managing others in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to set and demand high standards.
* Clear understanding of Health & Safety and Hygiene standards.
* Excellent communication skills.
